This restaurant is located on the Zeedijk. Palmer is definitely one of the better-looking of the many restaurants in the area. It also has a very trendy menu that changes every two months or so. What exactly is a trendy menu? In this case, the cuisine is called 'fusion', and house specialities include such dishes as Freestylers Revenge, Renegade Taste Wave and The G-spot Dish. Apparently, Palmers is an ode to a certain John Palmers, a restaurateur responsible for starting a chain of restaurants in America that are all about good food, friendly service and positive attitude. Most importantly, the food here is good, and like most fusion restaurants there are some more than interesting combinations on the menu. You could just opt for a steak, but most of the dishes are slightly more adventurous with a mix of influences. Palmers is split in two sections: the cafe and the restaurant. The restaurant offers a slightly calmer setting while the cafe is open slightly longer and you can get a drink here. But both of them offer the same menu.
